Wednesday, August 29th, CC Winn Student Council held the first school-wide election for the new school year. During all three lunches, students were asked to vote in the area outside the cafeteria on the future name for the school's new athletic field house.
The Leadership class members spent their lunch time rounding up students and encouraging participation in the election to make sure they had a big student turnout for this big decision.
Maverick Nations knows that their voice is important and everyone's vote matters, and they look forward to the unveiling of the new building and the naming of the complex!
Winn StuCo would also like to thank all students who took time and came out to vote and encourage students to come out and vote in the many elections to come.
