As part of PSAT preparation, CC Winn's English I team met on October 8th to finalize requirements for testing procedures for 9th grade students.
While students will not be taking the PSAT at that grade level, teachers have put together a plan of action to ensure their students do not waste a day of focused education while sitting in holding rooms.
For this reason, teachers have decided to come together to create a STAAR formatted 9 weeks exam which will help in establishing the class' scoring level and help students in build their testing endurance for EOC testing in December, April and May.
Teachers hope that parents and students alike will view this as an opportunity.
They hope 9th grade students will be ready on that day to give it their best, just as much as the higher levels PSAT testing.
