At Winn High, Mavericks have a big heart!
Officer Fuentes would like to recognize the kind hearted, caring students who were a part of the rescue of a small kitty.
Tuesday, October 16th, with the help of the Coca Cola service man and a couple of students, Officer Rosario Fuentes was able to rescue the cat who had somehow made its way into a Coca Cola machine by the gym area. It is believed that the cat had been stuck inside the machine for a couple of days.
The students were excited to be a part of this rescue and were thrilled to be given the opportunity to name him.
