Friday, September 28th, the students in Mrs. Contreras' class at Robert E. Lee Elementary were very enthusiastic during their read aloud of Paul Galdone's "Henny Penny".
Henny Penny tells the tale of a bird that is convinced the sky is falling. Throughout the story, Henny Penny and a band of gullible friends march off to tell the king, only to meet their end at the hands of a wily fox.
The young Rebels look forward to their read aloud all week!
