Tuesday, September 25th, the students in Mrs. Sally Duran’s AP Biology class at CC Winn High School explored properties of water: specific heat, polarity vs. non-polarity, density, pH, solubility, etc.
Students were so invested in this lab that they felt compelled to take it a step further.
As an extension to this project, the students tested the pH levels of various water brands found in our local grocery stores.
In addition, they attempted an evaluation to see whether the taste of water is affected by its pH.
