Friday, October 5th, Mrs. E. Salinas' 2nd grade at Graves Elementary worked on homophone gardens.
A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning.
The students were given homophones to color code and create flower garden with.
They then wrote sentences with each homophone.
