Friday, October 12th, Maverick Nation witnessed a landmark event; the inauguration of Winn the Day Field House.
The event was witnessed by faculty, staff, student body, and athletics team; however, there is one group of unsung heroes that need to be thanked for making this glorious event possible.
The Student Athletic Trainers were behind the scenes trying to make this event as magnificent fas possible.
The 11 students, alongside C.C. Winn’s Head Athletic Trainer, Dwight Arganbright diligently prepared the new training room to be ready for the grand opening.
The group was excited to show the community their final product!
Dwight Arganbright is proud of his trainers and would like to recognize all their hard work and dedication to Maverick Nation!
“Many people don’t know what happens behind the scenes of every football game.
After taping, water breaks and ensuring the players' conditions throughout the game, I believe these girls are the true stars!” quoted Arganbright.
Maverick Nation would like to thank WHS Sports Medicine for the magnificent job they do all year round making sure the athletes at Winn are well taken care of.
