Friday, October 12th, CC Winn's AP Calculus teacher, Mr. Jimenez introduced his class to “The Super Mario Effect.”
After a 60 minute lecture, Mr. Jimenez decided to motivate his students with a video showcasing the importance of being proud of themselves.
Mark Rober's "Super Mario Effect" demonstrates that grades don’t represent the true value of a student, but perhaps the knowledge that they gain out of the attempt to strive for success.
With this in mind, the students walked out the door with more confidence on the tests that they had or awaited them that same day.
