Friday, May 3rd, CC Winn College and Career Counselor Tanya Tijerina visited Memorial Junior High.
The fourth Cohort of Early College Academy students were advised that they have been accepted into the program.
Ms. Tijerina got straight to work!
With this being the beginning of the process, 8th graders did their first college application to SWTJC.
The second step will be when Ms. Tijerina visits again on May 20th to test these candidates with their TSI.
The final step to the process will be when the students travel to WHS to participate in their annual orientation which will happen on May 30th.
WHS is super excited as these students embark on an amazing academic journey that will lead to a positive future full of possibilities.
