Friday, September 6th, students from Ms Lopez' class at Darr were assigned groups and leaders for their literacy centers.
One center introduced as a whole group was the listening center.
Students practiced the center's procedures by listening to a story from the Marie Carbo reading program three times and then were able to read to partners.
Ms Lopez' students will soon be able to actively participate in the literacy centers.
