Monday, September 2nd, the 3rd grade students in Mrs. Huerta's class at Darr Elementary were hard at working learning place value.
Place value is the basis of our entire number system.
A place value system is one in which the position of a digit in a number determines its value.
The students were able to work with ten blocks to get a better grasp on the concept.
