On Monday, September 9, 2019, WINNEnglish Department held their first official department meeting of the school year!
WHS English Department meets every three weeks as a whole department to discuss departmental and school topics.
After a long day at work, sometimes it can be challenging to attend meetings after school; therefore, this year the English Department is determined to make meetings more appealing to attend.
Working together, members of the department will provide a theme inspired snack table for the department to enjoy!
For the first meeting, Mrs. Angelica Camarillo, Mrs. Josie Mercer, and Mrs. Denisse Villarreal hosted a Star Wars inspired snack table and provided each member with a "Metaphors Be With You" coffee tumbler.
Mrs. Camarillo would like to wish the WHS English Department Jedis good luck this year in all your endeavors with your students.
