Graves Elementary would like to thank their Very Own Hero Jessica Ramon, served in the US Army as a Combat Medic (91W).
She trained at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and completed her medical training at BAMC in Fort Sam Houston.
She was Honorably Discharged and is a Disabled Veteran due to injuries sustained during service.
After returning to the her hometown of Eagle Pass, she has served has an educator for the past 8 years.
Her years of service have come in hand when 4 years ago she performed the Heimlich on a student who was choking, saving his life.
Ms. Ramon is happy to be part of the Graves Family and enjoys serving the community!
