Winn High School's Scholarship Representative, Mrs. Lorena Alvarez visited Mrs. Mercer's English IV classes on Wednesday, September 4th.
Mrs. Alvarez spoke to the students about the importance of writing a solid scholarship essay.
In addition, students were shown samples of scholarship applications so that they could familiarize with the process that is set to start in January 2020.
Mrs. Alvarez encourages all seniors to get an early start on their essays so that come January, they will be ready to apply with no delays.
