Winn High School learns about the epic poem.
On September 23rd, during a class lecture, Mrs. Mercer introduced her English IV classes to the five elements of the Epic poem.
As they began their reading on September 24th, students were asked to apply their newly acquired knowledge by identifying the legendary hero, the quest, valorous deeds, great events, and divine intervention within the Epic Beowulf.
This reading analysis activity allowed students to make connections and throughly comprehend these important elements.
