Chrome books are an amazing tool at Sam Houston Elementary.
Mrs. Riojas has made it a point to ensure all students on campus have the opportunity to practice skills in the classroom through technology.
On September 24th, students read their weekly read and then proceeded to work on several activities on their Chromebooks through Google Classroom.
Students were able to work independently and accomplish a lot of writing in a short period of time. Students wrote sentences with their vocabulary words, wrote a short descriptive piece and responded to comprehensive questions based on their weekly reading.
Students enjoyed working on their Chromebooks and were rewards for their hard work by playing a short Kahoot game before exiting class.
Mrs. Torres is proud of her Cougars and expects great things this year!
