Tuesday, September 24th, the students in Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. Arce's class at Memorial Jr. High were learning about Hispanic Heritage Month, by discussing some of the customs and traditions that play a role.
They enjoyed reading Playing Loteria, creating their very own jumbo playing cards and were able to make a connection to their own personal lives as they shared stories about family gatherings and celebrations.
