On Thursday, October 17, 2019, C.C.Winn High School's Student Council and National Honor Society had the opportunity to attend the Loving Hearts Ceremony Fall Softball game.
Students had the chance to interact with the kids by passing out crazy socks that were donated by #WeHelpTwo (campaign held to raise money to give to children who are in need of a prosthetic leg) and assisted on the field during the two games.
StuCo and NHS members were also present to witness a proclamation ceremony for Down Syndrome Awareness Month and were thanked by the Honorable Mayor Ramsey English Cantu for their partnership with the City of Eagle Pass!
Student Council and the National Honor Society are more than glad to be a part of this growing softball league and invites the public to join them at their next game.
