On October 17, 2019, C.C. Winn High School's National Honor Society teamed up with The Buddy Foundation in order to raise blankets for the dogs that the Buddy Foundation houses.
The Buddy Foundation is a non-profit organization that takes upon themselves the responsibility of raising, and nourishing puppies back to health, that are wounded or stranded on the streets.
The Buddy Foundation was running low on blankets for the dogs, and due to the changes in the weather they kindly asked the National Honor Society for donations of blankets that would contribute to this cause.
With a smile on their faces, the leaders of the National Honor Society responded yes to their request, and are currently still raising blankets to keep the puppies warm this upcoming winter.
