WHS School Spirit Community Display

On Thursday, September 26th, the C. C. Winn Student Council's Spirit Display at the McDonald's entrance of our local Walmart went up in a magnificent display of school pride!
Winn StuCo accepted a challenge from the regional Coca Cola distributors to enter into a display competition for our region (Eagle Pass, Del Rio & Uvalde).
In less than 24 hrs, over two dozen students comprised of StuCo officers & members as well as the 3rd period Leadership class, were able to come together to create a stunning display for the Coca Cola products at our local Eagle Pass Walmart.
Various students along with Student Council sponsors, Dionni Olivares and Santiago Herrera, were on site to set up their entry for the spirit display competition on Thursday evening.
StuCo is hoping to win a $1,500 cash prize to help our organization travel to more football games and leadership workshops this season, and a POWERADE Sideline kit for our football team, including: 10 gallon cooler, 2000 cups, POWERADE squirt bottles and POWERADE.
StuCo would like to send a huge shout-out to the group of varsity players who came out to support them during their setup that evening, and wishes the Mavericks the very best of luck!
"Everything we do, we do for our school, students, parents, faculty and staff!"
