On Thursday, October 10th, 2019, Winn's Thundering Maverick Band practiced at the Old Eagle Field in order to prepare for their competition on Saturday October 12.
The Thundering Maverick Band competed in Yamaha Cup which is new to CC Winn for they have never competed in before.
The band used this competition to prepare them for UIL District.
Throughout the practice, the parents of the students were allowed to watch their sons/daughters perfect their show and support them with their dedication in what almost all students love to do.
All students during the practice put their effort out on the field to continue to find ways to make their show better with every run through. The Winn Band's show is entitled "Rain".
