On Saturday, October 11, 2014 the C.C.Winn Striking Silver Guard obtained 1st place in the 5A Classification at the North Side Marching Band Festival.
C.C. Winn Thundering Band obtained 3rd place in the 5A Classification at the Harlandale Marching Festival. The Striking Silver Guard and Drumline obtained the "Best Color Guard" and "Best Drumline" Awards at the same festival.
