Superintendent's Advisory Council Present at TASA

Monday January 30th, EPISD Seniors Angelica Garza (EPHS) and Magaly Hernandez (WINN) joined Eagle Pass Independent School District Superintendent Mr. Gilberto Gonzalez at the Texas Association of School Administrators Midwinter Conference in Austin, Texas.
Not only were these girls the only students in attendance, these tenacious girls were the youngest presenters as well. The duo held their own breakout session at 1:00 pm over their journey on becoming student leaders with the Superintendent Advisory Council and how they are now creating leaders across the district with their "Go Green" initiative. Many school districts send in applications and bids to host their own sessions and out of the hundreds, our EPISD Superintendent's Advisory Council students were selected!
Mr. Gonzalez and all of EPISD Administration
would like to congratulate these young ladies on this huge accomplishment and for all the time and energy that went into preparation for this event.

Way to go Angelica and Magaly!
Go Class of 2017!
