Cardinal Students are always looking for ways in which they can make an impact; so in honor of cancer awareness month, the students were delighted to participate in San Luis' yearly Ponytails for Love Event.
October 23rd, the school had close to 50 individuals donate their hair for a good cause.
Each donor was rewarded for their kind gesture with a goodie bag, movie pass, snacks, and much more.
The Cardinal Family would like to showcase one special student, Areli, who on her birthday had only one wish, to help someone in need.
San Luis Elementary made that wish come true by providing her with the opportunity to donate her hair and make a difference in someone life.
