Mavs Investigate World of Forensic Science

Tuesday, November 14th, Mrs. Duran's Forensic Science class at CC Winn High School created posters demonstrating different types of blood patterns and spatter.
To kick off this project, the Mavs started out the week determining their own blood types in class!
They then focused on analyzing the effects height, velocity and angles have on blood found at crime scenes.
They also mimicked passive blood droplets, arterial gushes, cast-offs, transfer and expirated blood stain patterns. They hope to gain a better understanding and appreciation for all Forensic scientists and the hard work they do. This project wrapped up a busy, yet fun unit on ‘Blood Typing and Blood Spatter’.
Way to go Mavs!
