Winn's IPC teacher, Mrs.Tonya Rosas, has found a way to make learning entertaining and productive for her students.
Mrs. Rosas taught her students to calculate speed while having fun.
The activity consisted of students hopping, speed walking, and running while others timed them and figured out the speed according to the time and distance the students traveled.
This activity gave the students a more hands on approach to learn and understand an important science formula that will help them the rest of their lives.
Students were fascinated by this activity and can't wait to have more activities like this one in the future.
This activity allowed students to apply problem solving strategies to real life application in the area of Science. Way to go Mrs. Rosas for your interactive teaching approach!
