Monday, November 13th, Mrs. Mercer’s English IV classes at C. C. Winn High School were hard at work and proudly displayed their projects.
Students were guided thorough the process of creating a body map for Beowulf and the results were simply amazing.
The project consisted of a detailed character analysis with a hint of creativity where the students got the opportunity to freely create their own version of the character of their choice.
The options they had were Beowulf, Grendel, Grendel’s Mother, and Wiglaf.
The project as a whole allowed students to reach a deeper understanding of the characters and their purpose within the epic poem.
