Friday, April 13th, C.C. Winn Student Council celebrated National Leadership Week with a small ceremony during school.
Student Council Sponsor, Mrs. Olivares, presented her leadership class with certificates for their outstanding dedication and leadership skills that each member has acquired throughout the year.
Not only were the students awarded a certificate, but also received wise words from C.C.Winn’s very own principal, Mr. Diaz, and Student Council president, Pablo Garcia.
Students of the Leadership class later enjoyed their ceremony with a Fiesta themed luncheon, serving tamales, rice and beans, and to top it all off, a delicious celebratory cake.
Congratulations to all the leaders for their impact, influence, and inspiration to those that follow.
