Friday, May 4th, English II students at CC Winn got together to celebrate their region's primary culture.
Students had to read Hispanic/ Chicano Literature, complete Literature Logs, and complete a research on their own culture, heritage, name's origin, etc. in order to be allowed to have this celebration in class.
Students made a cross curriculum connection with lessons learned in other classes such as Spanish and World History.
