Teamwork really does make a difference at C. C. Winn High School as a hardworking group of faculty and staff members gathered the week of August 1st to bring meaning to the girls’ restrooms by the cafeteria.
Team Winn volunteered time out of their summer break to do something good for the school's female Mavericks!
Motivational quotes, such as, “She believed she could so she did,” and “Your mistakes don’t define you” were painted on the restroom doors.
The transformation happened over a period of a week and a half.
Throughout the process, students wondered what all the commotion was and anxiously waited for the big reveal.
A special ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 9th to reveal the newly decorated doors.
The purpose of this project is to shower the girls with positivity and empowerment so that they may achieve greatness and aspire to be fantastic.
The positive feedback that Team Winn received from the girls was worth the hours of planning and manual labor that went into the project.
The C. C. Winn Mavericks are ready to kick off the 2018-2019 school year with a positive attitude and wish everyone a fantastic year.
