Friday, October 5th, Mrs. De Luna's Chemistry Pre-AP students at Eagle Pass High School used spectroscopes to observe different light sources such as lamps and discharge tubes with gases from different elements.
With the spectroscopes, they could view whether the spectrum produced was either a continuous spectrum or a line spectrum and the could also see the wavelength for each color.
The students have been learning about wavelength, frequency, and the electromagnetic spectrum.
The students observed the light in and outside!
