Wednesday, September 26th, 37 students from the CC Winn Air Force JROTC took a field trip to Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.
The students received a thorough introduction to the Air Force through informative discussions with Airmen of various ranks in addition to a tour of the base facilities.
The students were able to get a first hand look at the pilot training squadrons, the air traffic control tower, radar approach control, the fitness center, security forces working dogs, as well as view active flight training operations.
