The students in Mrs. Idalia Salinas’ class at CC Winn High School have been working tirelessly on developing their arguments for their persuasive writing essays.
As a new take on choosing what side to defend, students were paired up and decided on the for or against side for their persuasive essay, whether or not change is good.
Students then mounted their arguments onto a poster to then present to the class.
Friday, March 15th, the class had the task of deciding who had the better arguments.
The winning argument was rewarded with a treat.
The students learned so much from the partner project that they wanted to debated more topics.
