Wednesday, March 27th, Mrs. Torres' English I classes at Winn had their mind set on metaphors.
Figurative language allows the students to express forms of communication that would otherwise not be possible through regular forms of language.
Mrs. Torres main goal as an English teacher is to help educate and inform students on all the necessary tools they will need in their future.
The class worked on ways to improve their skills by analyzing metaphors as well as creating some of their very own.
These skills will help the students score better on their English STAAR test on April 9th.
