Tuesday, April 2nd, Mrs. Felan's 1st grade class at Darr dove into the world of Sacagawea.
Sacagawea was a Lemhi Shoshone woman who is known for her help to the Lewis and Clark Expedition in achieving their chartered mission objectives by exploring the Louisiana Territory.
Sacagawea traveled with the expedition thousands of miles from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean.
The Mavs watched a video on her life and wrote about what they learned about her.
Way to go Mavs!
