The students in AP Chemistry at Eagle Pass High School learned all about the pH of acids and bases and how to calculate the pH and concentration using logs and anti-logs.
Friday, April 12th, they took it one step further and learned how to do it without a calculator!
The students took turns going up to the board and explaining step by step how to break up the log (logarithm) in order to estimate the value of the concentration or the pH.
