Friday, April 5th, students in Mrs. Mercer's 5th period class at Winn explored the "Great Outdoors."
Tasked with producing a creative writing piece, students were prompted to take a field trip around the campus to trigger their inspiration.
From the blue skies, to a rain gutter, students brainstormed numerous ideas with the endless possibilities that the outdoors brought to them.
Upon returning to the classroom, they discussed what they saw and helped each other decide what direction their essay would take.
