Thursday, June 6th, Darr Elementary proudly recognized 6th grade Maverick, Diego Portillo as a 2019 Presidential Award Recipient.
The President's Education Awards Program is awarded on behalf of the President of the United States and the U.S. Secretary of Education.
PEAP was founded in 1983.
The purpose of the program is to recognize U.S. students in elementary, middle and high school for their educational achievements.
