EPISD Summer Program Preps Feast

Thursday, June 20th, the EPISD Summer Bilingual program at Kennedy Hall had one tasty morning!
The students in Mrs. Elam and Mrs. Gonzalez ‘ class made their very own piggy pancakes.
The class cooked up a batch of piggy pancakes as an extension of their class theme of "Me and My Family" and their family story of the week "The Three Little Pigs".
 Cooking with kids can help:
Build basic skills. You can help your child hone basic math skills by doing something as simple as counting eggs or pouring water into a measuring cup. ...
Encourage an adventurous palate. ...
Help young kids explore with their senses. ...
Boost confidence.
The kids really loved their piggy pancakes and had a great time learning the steps!
