In an effort to familiarize students in AP Language and Composition with the new AP scoring rubric, Miss Cruz had her students at Winn create a thematic rubric that demonstrated their understanding of the rubric's elements.
Students were asked to analyze the rubric and choose an original theme or topic to create a new rubric.
Themes included TV shows, movies, celebrities, food, dance teams, etc.
They then created visuals to display their score rankings for each row and score on the rubric. Students then enjoyed the reactions received from their peers as they presented their new rubrics to their classmates on September 18th.
