On Friday, September 27th, Eagle Pass High School's Physics Pre-AP students designed their own Type 1 Projectile experiment.
A projectile is an object launched through the air.
Type 1 means that the object was launched from a maximum height and thrown towards the ground.
The students had to make an example using everyday classroom items.
They measured the horizontal and vertical displacement the object moved and the time it took the object to fall.
They used these measurements to find the velocity of the object.
