Benavides Bulldogs were full of the Christmas Spirit and their creativity shown in their wonderful bulletin board displays. This Christmas Bulletin Board Contest was a tough one to judge as you can plainly see. There was a 1st and 2nd place winner for 1st through 3rd grades, 4th through 6th grades, and one for support staff. Congratulations to the following: 1st-3rd grades [2nd Place Ms. Flores 2nd Grade (fireplace w/tree Display) and 1st Place Ms. Castillo 1st Grade (Santa's Workshop Display)]; 4th-6th grades [2nd Place Mrs. Gomez 4th Grade (Big Charlie Brown Display) and 1st Place Tie Ms. Rodriguez 6th (Santa in his sleigh display) Grade also Ms. Luna 5th Grade (Grinch Maybe Christmas Display]; Support Staff [Mrs. Ruan Sp. Ed. (Welcome to Whoville Display) and Ms. Romero Reading Room (Student Elf Display). Also, a special thanks goes to Alma Torralba, Juan Cuellar, and Rita Carreon for taking the time to be our judges.
