On Tuesday January 14th, the WHS long distance track team did their first workout of the season. Coach Castro, with the help of Coach Garza and Coach Sanchez, has been designing and creating different speed workouts for the runners, from tempo runs to mile repeats.
Coach Castro knows that every runner is different, that is why she has taken the time to personalize each workout so that they can get the most out of their training.
The long distance track team would like to thank her for all the hard work she puts into making sure her runners are the best they can be.
