CC Winn High School pushes the idea of being one Maverick Family and looking out for each other, so on Wednesday, January 29, senior students (Amali C., Amanda M., and Kassandra P.) surprised their former English teacher Miss Cruz with an afternoon snack. These students are regularly dismissed early. However, they returned to campus for a club meeting and decided to go through with this act of kindness. Miss Cruz was beyond grateful for the gesture.
