On Saturday, January 11th, the CC Winn UIL Academics team traveled to Medina Valley High School for their second meet of the season. This was the second meet of the season and winners were announced Monday, January 13th, at WHS. The following are individual winners as well as team placements.

Computer Science for getting 1st place team
Alex Jimenez- 4th place in the advanced division of computer science.
Aaron Alvarez- 1st place in the novice division
Amalio Corral-3rd in the novice division
Spelling Team also got 1st place team with Landon Trevino in 4th
Number Sense also got 1st place team and had Ricardo Garcia place 3rd in the upperclassmen division,and Alejandro Ramos who placed 2nd in the underclassmen division
Ricardo Garcia- 1st place in mathematics
Jonathan Tavares- 4th place in Computer Applications
Mariano Flores- 3rd for social studies
Karyme Flores- 5th in Poetry
Prose team had Mark Sada in 6th place, Amanda Martin in 5th, and Jesus Chavarria in 1st place
