On April 29th, Benavides Elementary held a Science Academy to help aide their 5th grade students with their Science TEKS. The students were able to conduct cool and exciting experiments with the help of Eagle Pass High School teacher Tanya Tijerina and her Environmental Club students. The academy consisted of labs and centers where EPHS Environmental Club and Benavides Elementary 5th graders worked together in common goal to achieve scientific success.
