EPISD Crisis and Trauma Team

Eagle Pass Independent School District’s Crisis and Trauma team was recently recognized at their last meeting for their continued commitment and outstanding efforts. The purpose of the District Crisis and Trauma team is to to provide campuses with additional counseling services in the event of traumatic events. Traumatic events can cause a sort of disruption and challenge within a school system. During this time of distress it is beneficial for all those involved to process the tragedy and try to aid the school to a state of normalcy. This team is a critical component in providing a helpful direction towards the healing process. The Eagle Pass ISD Crisis and Trauma team is led by Ms. Martha Nino. Team members include: Mrs. Armandina Mata, Mr. Fernando Perez, Mrs. Dora Cumpian, Mrs. Kimberly Clark-Ballesteros, Mrs. Maria Soto, Mr. Israel Rocha, Mrs. Ana Morales, and Ms. Ambar Gonzalez.
