Every
year circumstances willing, Benavides Elementary's Student Council participates in the “Candles for
Life” event. Several of their Student Council members were able to raise more than 50
dollars to earn a Candles for Life T-shirt and the Bulldog cheerleaders gave a great
performance and received a certificate of participation as well.
