Sixteen students from C.C. Winn High School will present the play “Of Mice and Men” Monday through Friday, November 15-18 at the Student Activity Center.
The play is based off of John Steinbeck's novel of the same name that tells the tale of a man named George (played by Alberto De La Cruz) who reflects upon the time he spent traveling with a huge childlike man named Lennie (played by Victor Solis) while they were looking for ranch work in California during the Great Depression.
Approximately 3,000 students from elementary and secondary schools throughout the district are set to attend Winn Drama Club's production. Parents are also invited to come and take part in the magic that will be taking place on stage. The student actors and crew have been working hard and practicing since September 12th trying to make the play as perfect as possible for their community!
Director Adolfo Flores applauds his students work and urges everyone to come watch and to "sit back, relax, and enjoy the show."
