Lee Teachers Compete in Campus-Wide Competiton

Robert E. Lee Elementary had a blast this week (May 1 - 5) as staff groups secretly joined together to make the most of "The Contest" Event that was initiated by Principal B.E. Muzquiz and supported by Instructional Officer V. Rodriguez.  Each Group was selected at random and joined forces together to gain bonus points and ultimately win the "Secret Prize.
 
Team Emoji showed their team had special talent in a School Contest as they racked up points to win the competition for Winner Take All. Mr. Moises Rocha, Mrs. Alejandra Robledo, Mrs. Mayda Garza, Mrs. Sonia Fernandez, and Mrs. Eloisa Cardona.
Team USA was very patriotic and showed strength and determination during Teacher Appreciation Week. The Team involved their students in writing thoughtful notes about staff members and displayed them on a bulletin board. Additionally, they handed out Twizzlers, one of the team members performed backwards as they also participated in the Talent Event for the "Contest."  Mrs. Diana Gonzalez, Mrs. Anali Bonilla, Mrs. Juanita Hernandez, and Ms. Ana Cruz. 

 Fantastic Five wanted to win the competition for the contest.  Mrs. Zepeda showed her Self Defense Karate moves on Coach Garcia to try to win the competition. The team also gave each teacher a "Your'e Awesome" sign to attempt to tilt the contest their way.  During the Distraction Event, the team representative had to show the worse dance moves to be able to chime in with answers to riddles. The Rebellion: Mr. Villarreal, Mr. Rodrigues, Mrs. Lizette Rodrigues (not pictured)and Mrs. De La Paz (not pictured) won the Talent Competition with Mr. Villarreal's original song that he sang at the Grand Finale!  WoW! Robert E. Lee has Talent!!!

The Incredibles: The Champions of the Grand Finale were neck in neck with Team USA. Their grand entrance was witnessed as they made their way through fog. The team not only planned, they plotted!!! They were incredibly ingenious as they took other colleagues' bus duty, sent mini-first aid kits, provided with daily quotes and candies, brought a fruit tray in the shape of the Incredibles Logo, Team shirts, mask, gloves, need I say more...They were Incredible!!! The Incredible team won lunch at Parilla San Miguel...wow, that's incredible!!!   Other teams won Rodees Chicken, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and "I'm Casual because" stickers.   This REBEL Staff makes you smile from ear to ear!!! Woohoo!!! Way to Go, Rebels!!!! You're awesome!!!
